About Conference

The National Conference on Green Energy, Environment & Sustainable Development (NCGEESD-2018) is to take place in Presidency University will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information on alternate energy. This conference proposes to bring together academicians, manufacturers, policy makers, etc., to share and encourage thoughtful evaluation and to discuss contemporary technological trends, policies and programs in the broad area of alternate energy for sustainable development. Sessions are designed to be interactive and provide ample scope for audience participation. The aim of this conference is to provide an opportunity for participants to network and share ideas with renowned experts with vast experience in the energy sector.

Bengaluru The host city, which is the capital of Karnataka, is the fifth largest city in India. The exact origin of Bengaluru is unknown, but it is believed that the city was founded in the 16th century. The beautiful parks and gardens and tree-lined streets of the ‘Garden City’ make it a visual treat for travellers. Today, Bengaluru is known as the ‘IT Capital of India' and the ‘Silicon Valley of India'. Introduction

The School of Engineering in Presidency University, Bengaluru, is organizing a National Conference on Green Energy, Environment & Sustainable Development . This conference will bring together researchers and engineering professionals from all over India to meet and deliberate in the beautiful green garden city, Bengaluru, on 9th and 10th March, 2018. The conference will also provide a platform for entrepreneurs to seek partnership with scientists and engineers to discuss commercialization of ideas, inventions and products.

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Authors are requested to limit the papers to a maximum of 4 pages.
Articles must be typed in MS word using Times New Roman font with a line spacing of 1.5 pt.
All headings and sub-headings must be bold and typed in 14 pt and 12 pt font size, respectively. The rest of the article is to be in 12 pt font size.
Authors must follow the APA style for text as well as references.

Registered participants are allowed to submit only one paper. Only participants who have registered will have their papers published in the proceedings of the conference.
The registration fee can be paid either by a demand draft drawn in favour of the “REGISTRAR, PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY, BANGALORE 560064," or through a bank transfer to the “REGISTRAR, PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY ACCOUNT,” A/c No. 11890100129874 in FEDERAL BANK, GANDHINAGAR BRANCH with IFSC: FDRL0001189. Participants must fill the registration form included in this brochure and email it to the Organizing Secretary before 1st March, 2018. The registration fee includes a conference kit, admission to all technical sessions, meals and refreshments.
ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION : The university will provide help in arranging accommodation for participants at their own cost. Participants requiring this help must contact the Organizing Secretary via email. The university will arrange buses to and fro between Yelahanka, Hebbal and University for the convenience of participants registered for the conference at specified time.
